1、 Hexagonal nut

2、 Square nut

5、 Tighten the nut

6、 Cap nut

7、 Slotted nut

This type of nut is used together with threaded bolts with holes and split pins to prevent relative rotation between the bolt and nut. The corresponding national standards include GB6178-6181, which regulate their use and production. The main function of slotted nuts is to cooperate with bolts with holes on the shaft, and to achieve the purpose of anti loosening by inserting open pins. They are not only widely used to connect various mechanical parts such as bearings, gears, and couplings, but also commonly used to fix the front and rear axles of vehicles. By tightening the screws that pass through the front and rear wheel axles, the frame and tires are securely connected. To ensure that the nut does not loosen, professionals will use an open-ended pin to pass through the slot of the slotted nut for fixation, and the way the open-ended pin passes through must start from the middle of the wheel axle screw.
8、 Butterfly nut
